FAQ
Can I upload my own templates to the Digitorney app and use them internally?
Yes – Digitorney prepares your templates so that they “communicate” with the software and can thus be created automatically. Upon request and for a separate fee, we can also offer this service in-house using your hardware, so you don’t have to send us any templates.
Why is Digitorney also suitable for large companies?
Corporate legal departments can also use this software to automate their own templates and conserve internal resources. Digitorney also allows for group-wide management of templates for all departments, locations, or group companies. This ensures that only the latest version of a template is used and adjustments are made centrally. Furthermore, a dedicated instance allows for the preservation of internal legal knowledge.
Does Digitorney replace legal advisory of lawyers?
No – Digitorney enables companies to create legal documents themselves and find answers to questions in the fields of business law. The draft or research created in this way for individual cases leads to significant time savings and thus lower legal advisory costs and reduced internal resources. In any case, however, the draft or assessment must be finally reviewed by a qualified lawyer.
Can I use the Digitorney app content without restrictions?
Yes, all template contents – provided it is completed and exported using the forms – can be used without restrictions, even after the contract has terminated.
How is data protection being ensured by Digitorney?
The Digitorney app runs exclusively on German servers and was developed by a German development team. Furthermore, Digitorney AI is a so-called encapsulated AI, meaning no external data transfer takes place. Furthermore, all data is encrypted, meaning no external parties (including Digitorney) can read your content.
Can the Digitorney app be deployed on-premises instead of in the cloud?
By default, the Digitorney app is only available as a cloud solution, hosted on a Digitorney server. Upon request, an on-premises solution can also be deployed for an additional fee.

Can we manage the Digitorney app and contents ourselves?
Yes, depending on the subscription, one or two administrators are possible. They have full rights to configure Digitorney templates and their own templates and assign them to users in the respective departments or group companies.
Can multiple users use the Digitorney app at the same time?
Yes – the number depends on your subscription.
